State-Endorsed Digital Identity (SEDI)
Individual control. State-endorsed. Zero tracking.
A constitutional approach to digital identity that puts individual rights first. Secure, privacy-preserving, interoperable and designed to build the trust layer for the next generation.
What is State-Endorsed Digital Identity (SEDI)?
SEDI is Utah’s constitutional, rights-first framework for digital identity. It establishes a secure, privacy-preserving trust layer that enables identity verification in the digital world while protecting individual liberty and limiting centralized control.
SEDI is designed to:
Individuals deserve control over their digital identity
Governments need secure and privacy-respecting verification tools
Financial institutions and private sector partners need trusted, interoperable identity standards
States can collaborate through shared governance and open standards
